Secretarys Message

Dear Member,

                    BACK WHERE WE BELONG!!

 Following a season in the Second Division of the South Wales Cricket Association, we are now back amongst the elite of the League and I am eagerly awaiting the forthcoming season.

            The club have obtained the services of Andrew Davies of Glamorgan CCC for next season and we are sure that he will strengthen the side when available and also help progress our younger players with his experience.

            Once again one of our promising young players, Daniel Roberts, has been selected to tour the West Indies with the West of England and Wales squad – another success for our talented youth sections.

            At the recent A.G.M. the Club rewarded three of our members with Life Membership for their long standing service to the Club, namely Graham Jones, Huw Arrowsmith and Barry Lloyd. Well done to all three.

            During the forthcoming season we have a selection of matches arranged for you to enjoy involving Wales Minor Counties, Wales Over 50s, Wales Under 13s and Junior Finals Week. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

            Finally, may I wish all the best to the respective Captains for the coming season and a special thank you to all our loyal members for your support throughout the year.
